Act I, Scene 4- Act II, Scene 2

I met this amazing boy the other night at our party. I don't know what it wa other than love at first sight. However, it took a turn for the worse! I soon found out that my one and only love is a Montague, my born enemy. I was devastated and crushed when I found out, but we'll find a way to be with each other. I know we will. I know that I was planning on giving Paris a chance, but I no longer want to. Romeo has taken my heart and I am just glowing. It really is a shame that it has to be a secret, but forbidden love is the best. We are planning on getting married!

Juliet Act I, Scene 1-Act I, Scene 3

I have been made aware that a man named Paris, a kinsmen of the prince, wants to marry me. I have never thought about being married and I'm not looking to have it happen anytime in the near future. And even when it does happen, I want to fall in love. I will not be as happy if I have to marry a man I don't even know! On the other hand, my life with Paris would probably be pretty great because, as mother said, he does have money. I just honestly do not want to think about it anymore. It is giving me a headache.
